Skazi (Asher Swissa & Assaf B-Bass) began their trend setting style of "Handbag emocore" in 1998.
The first trance album, "Animal", was released in September 2000. Already being in the local punk and hardcore scene, Skazi combined live guitar riffs and techy hardcore sounds. While the music did mesh with other Psy-Trance, it's also felt to share elements with Hard House and Techno.
Skazi produced four compilations between the years 2001 and 2004 ("Zoo1", "Zoo2", "Zoo3" and "Most Wanted"). Skazi made many collaborations with other artists.
Since the combined production of the "Animal" CD, Assaf B-Bass joined Asher as a second member of the band. Asher Swissa is still often referred to as "Skazi" despite that Skazi is officially a duo. Assaf B-Bass is also A&R for the latest incarnation of Skazi's record label, Chemical Crew.
Skazi currently performs mainly at raves in countries with large Psy-Trance festival scenes: Israel, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Guatemala, Germany, Greece, Serbia, South Africa, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Portugal, Austria, Australia, Russia, Skopje, India, Spain, United Kingdom, Bulgaria, Italy, Hungary, Denmark, Sweden and several others.
S.U.N. Project

S.U.N Project. was the first and original PsyTrance act who consequently started the concept of combining Rock/Metal influences with Psychadelic Trance productions back in 1995. Since those days this guys don..t go on stage without electric guitars and drums, beside the more typical computerized equipment. Today you can find some more other acts in this scene who started to use this concept for themselves later. S.U.N. Project is one of the few acts which have kept their name alive in the PsyTrance scene over 12 years now!
They released 10 albums on different record labels. These albums are unfortunately sold out completely..But now they are ready for download on I-Tunes and other download portals !
Their insane Live shows, comprising of one heavy metal guitar player who likes to burn his guitar on stage, one drummer and one digital noise maker/mixmaster as well as a few aliens can be seen all over the world and S.U.N. Project is one of the leading acts the Scene has to offer.
The three producers, based in Hamburg, Germany, have always taken their music to new extremes and mixed banging psychedelic Trance with catchy heavy metal riffs, serving up a dish which is second to none and certainly ready to shake the world of Goa Trance.
Goa Gil

Gil was born in 1951 and grew up in San Francisco, California. He witnessed the birth of the hippie movement and acid rock, and was involved with the freak collectives Family Dog and Sons of Champlon. Feeling that the San Francisco musical scene was falling apart, he took off in 1969, going first to Amsterdam and then to India, settling in the hippie mecca of Goa. Here he discovered the sadhus, wandering holy men living off the forest, covering themselves with ash, and drinking the elixir of the gods. Soon, Gil himself became a Sadhu, Baba Mangalanand, in the order of the Juna Akhara, under the Guru, Mahant Nirmalanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj.
During the early 1980s, many Goa hippies were becoming increasingly fascinated with early electronic music such as Kraftwerk. Gil and his friends soon gathered some equipment and started DJing and playing live music all night long on the Goa beaches. The mix of outdoor electronic dance parties with Eastern mystical and spiritual overtones came to define the aesthetic of the psytrance movement. For Gil, dance is an active form of meditation and the use of trance music is a way to "redefine the ancient tribal ritual for the 21st century". During the 1990s, the aesthetic of the Goa trance movement spread by way of European and Israeli backpackers who attended parties in India. Nowadays, Gil is still based in Goa for several months of the year, and spends the rest of his time travelling and throwing parties, notably in north America.

Raja Ram (born Ronald Rothfield, in 1941 in Melbourne, Australia) is a musician and the owner of the UK record label TIP World. Raja Ram left Australia in the 1950s to begin the hippie trail. He returned to Australia later and studied flute at the Melbourne Conservatory. Raja Ram also went to New York in 1965 to study jazz. He was founding member of the band Quintessence in the late 1960s and early 1970s, playing at the first two Glastonbury Festivals (then 'fayres') in 1970 and 1971.
Shortly after, Raja Ram was forced to retire for personal reasons and became an envelope salesman.[citation needed] In the 1980s, he decided to return to the music scene as he then became interested in the emerging genre of electronic music. He was one of the first people to make what is today considered psychedelic trance.
Raja Ram formed TIP Records in 1994 with Graham Wood and Ian St. Paul. It soon became one of the most well-known goa trance labels. After the label folded in 1998 Raja Ram then founded TIP World in 1999.
He collaborated with Simon Posford on the Shpongle and The Mystery of the Yeti projects and is a founder of 1200 Micrograms. He often plays the flute on ambient tracks.

Bansi and Riktam are Dutch, and Chicago is American, and the 3 live on Ibiza island, Spain. Raja Ram told his friend Paul Taylor, "God Paul I took 1200 micrograms!" Their music is known for the heavy use of guitars, and the first album focussed on themes related to mind/consciousness-expansion, and the various drugs which open the door to exploring new dimensions beyond normal consciousness.

Astrix is a Psychedelic Trance DJ and producer specialising in the sub-genre of Full On Psychedelic Trance.
He was born in USSR in Caucasus on 05/12/1981 and grew up in Tel Aviv, Israel 1992 as a Mountain Jew. He began recording music under the name Astrix in 1997, sometimes misconceived to be taken from the "Asterix" comic books. An interview on UK clubbing website Harderfaster.net revealed the name was chosen for simply sounding good, and not directly influenced by anything in particular.
Astrix started as a DJ in 1995 playing alternative and 1980s music. It was during this time that he learned about electronic music. In 1997 he began his first in-house studio recordings using a personal computer. He discovered trance in 1997 after being invited to a Trance party. "At first it was a very new and strange experience for me and I couldn't find myself, but I was impressed by the energy and the impact that the music had made on the people at the party." At the beginning of his career in the late 1990s he produced tracks in the "nitzhonot" style of trance, an uplifting, anthemic off-shoot of Goa trance. His first tracks were "In Peace" and "Eakhis World," which both appeared on the well-known nitzhonot compilation "Ptzatzot 3."
In a 2003 interview Astrix said that in fact he worked on 3 albums by Alien Project, but its maintainer Ari Linker didn't give him a credit

Psy-Trance innovators Infected Mushroom have become one of the biggest electronic bands on the planet. Twice ranked among the world’s 10 best DJs by the bible of the scene, the U.K.’s DJ Magazine, the Israel-bred, L.A. based duo bring a frenetic rock energy to the form. Their explosive show, featuring guitars, live drums, intensely passionate vocals and an ambitious multimedia backdrop, ranks among the genre’s most unpredictably joyous events. And their recordings continually venture where other electronic acts fear to tread.
Amit “Duvdev” Duvedevani and Erez Eisen have been working for nearly two years on an aggressive new album – their first since 2007’s critically acclaimed Vicious Delicious – for dance-music visionary Paul Oakenfold’s Perfecto label. Duvdev describes the as-yet untitled record, recorded at Infected Mushroom Laboratory in L.A. and slated for a June 2009 release, as a return to the pair’s metal roots. Guests include singer Jonathan Davis of Korn, who lends his estimable pipes to the track “Smashing the Opponent.”
Oakenfold has worked closely with the band in an A&R capacity. “Paul’s known as a House DJ, so we weren’t sure how he’d feel about our heaviest material,” Duvdev reveals, “but he loved it. He’s really brought a lot of great energy and advice to the table.”
